Personal Bio

I live in the LowerTown Arts District in Paducah, Kentucky but grew up in central Massachusetts. My musician husband and I moved to Paducah in 2003 as part of Paducah’s Artist Relocation Program. I have exhibited my artwork professionally since the mid 1980’s and taught art on the college level for many years. These days I operate my own studio gallery in the LowerTown Arts District, specializing in one of a kind original paintings and drawings featuring people, animals, nudes and nature. I do a fair amount of commissioned work, portraits and animal portraits. I work in a representational or realistic style but often times overlap into surrealism and magic realism.
